This is your opportunity to test your mettle across topics ranging from the history of seafaring and naval architecture to modern marine engineering and international shipping laws. Teams will face challenging rounds that demand not just factual knowledge, but also strategic thinking and quick recall. Navigate through tough questions, chart a course for victory, and prove that your team has the most buoyant brains in the fleet. Prepare to conquer the seas of knowledge.

General Instructions

• Mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
• Participants must enter the hall at least 10 minutes prior to the event.
• A maximum of two teams per college is allowed.
• Each team shall consist of two members only.

Preliminary Round

• Common questions for all teams.
• Total number of questions: 50.
• Time allotted: 20 minutes.
• Top 8 teams will qualify for the next round.

Knockout Round

• Five questions will be asked to each team.
• Fifteen seconds will be allotted for each question.
• Questions cannot be passed.
• Two points will be awarded for each correct answer.
• No negative marking.
• Top 6 teams will qualify for the next round.

Maximum: 2 teams per college.

Number of participants: 2 persons per team only.

NOTE: If there is a tie between two or more teams in any intermediate round, qualification to the next round will be decided based on performance or total score from previous rounds. In case of a tie in the final round, a rapid-fire tie-breaker round will be conducted to determine the winner.
